It’s the return of The Bachelor where contestants compete not for money – but for love! 💕
We’re in luck because a new season just started on January 27, 2025! It stars off with the re-introduction of Grant Ellis. who competed for the heart of Jenn Tran a number of seasons ago. Now it’s his turn to hand out roses! 🌹

You get a look into his family dynamics and into his life. As usual everyone is hesitantly supportive. They all want him to find true love.
The sweetest part was when he gave the first impression rose to his grandma. 🥹🌹😭 You can’t tell me you didn’t get the feels during that.
I’m one of those fans who loves drama and who brings the drama…? The women!!! I’m not going to introduce each and every one. I’m too lazy for that. Instead, I’m just going to give you my first impressions and hand out my first impression rose! 🌹
Just to warn you, I’m terrible with names. I’ll be giving them nicknames until I get to know them better. Here we go!
These women are stunning! 🤩😍 I love their dresses!
I love some of these gimmicks they do to get his attention. The first gimmick I laughed at was this one. The girl (I’m terrible with names.) is from Puerto Rico and started talking to him in Spanish. I laughed at the expression on Grant’s face (dumbfounded) and at the closed captioning onscreen.
I love the diversity of the women. Looks like they cast the women from all walks of life.
One of the craziest entrances is when a woman brings a donkey (according to Grant 🤦🏼♀️), but it’s actually an alpaca or maybe it’s a llama? 🤔 Nobody seems to know but the woman who brought her, who says it’s a no drama llama named Linda.
The llama is my favourite so far though. 🤣 The sounds she makes…I’m sure the editing team enjoyed editing this episode.
Of course the other women are worried about their dresses and if it’s allowed? 🙄
Back to the intros…
Everyone’s so creative it’s hard to know where Grant’s head is at.
Cut to another woman’s entrance…
These editors are having too much fun! 🤪
Another woman heard he liked to salsa so she brought nachos and salsa! 🤣
Which reminds me of this scene on Seinfeld. 😂
Then we have a wedding planner bringing in a wedding cake. You can tell Grant was feeling a little awkward. 😬
Another brings a Las Vegas sign which says, “Viva Las Vicky”. I’m assuming her name is Vicky? 😏
One of the girls is a crazy cat lady. She has an orange tabby named Sonny. She wants to break the crazy cat lady stereotype.
The girls all take turns with Grant on one on ones. The girls wonder which one of the girls is going to bring the drama. They can’t see it. Things are kumbaya until one girl shows up late and walks into the house and interrupts one of the girl’s one on ones. The girls wonder who she is and talk about how stunning she is. Lo and behold…it’s his SISTER, Taylor! Much to the girls’ relief.
His sister shows them baby pictures and succeeds in embarrassing him. She talks to the girls and gives him her approval.
Eventually, it’s time for the first impression rose! 🌹 There’s a twist this season in that the woman who receives it gets to have the first one on one date.
🌹🌹🌹 The first impression rose goes to…drum roll please…Alexe! She’s the proud owner of Linda, the no drama llama! Linda gets my first impression rose! I hope she stays for awhile but she probably won’t.
Based on the preview of the season it looks like he’s going to be undecided until the very last moment…
We’ll have to wait and see.
