Book Review: Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros

To be honest, I had never heard of this series until about a year ago. When I heard it involved dragons and dragon riders, I was like…I’m in! I’m a huge fan of Daenerys and Drogon from The Game of Thrones – so this sounded right up my alley.

According to my Goodreads account, I started this book on January 27, 2025 and finished it on January 13, 2026. Please let me clarify. This has nothing to do with this book. I’m one of those types of people who likes to start things, put it down, and then proceed to forget about it. This happens in all aspects of my life. I’m a procrastinator too. It’s a terrible combination. (This is why I didn’t post on Watch. Read. Write. from February 2025 until January 2026 too.) I just wanted to clear this up before I continue with this book review.

As with everything else I post on here, I write and speak spoilers, so if you haven’t read this book yet, and don’t want to know, stop reading this post now. I will spoil it!

Book Review: Nobody Puts Romcoms In The Corner by Kathryn Freeman

Nobody Puts Romcoms In The Corner…I bet you can remember exactly what movie that’s from and what scene. It’s a play on words from one of my favourite scenes from the movie. (It’s still one of my favourite movies too.) Hint: The movie is “Dirty Dancing” and it’s when Baby is sitting with her parents and Johnny comes and grabs her and they do their big finale dance scene.

This is a cute romcom book about renacting and/or recreating romcom moments just like that one and said couple falls for each other. The rest of my review will be kinda spoilerish so if you don’t want to be spoiled, you better stop reading now.

Book Review: Come Sundown by Nora Roberts

As a fan of Nora Roberts’ books, it took me awhile to get into it but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite book of hers. It’s not the worst. It falls somewhere in the middle.

This review contains some spoilers. Please don’t read any further past this point if you don’t want to know!
