Survivor: Knife To The Heart

Greetings everyone! Hope you’re doing well! It’s time for another episode of Survivor 50! We’re already on episode four and it’s titled, “Knife To The Heart” and you’ll soon find out why that’s the perfect title for this episode.

As usual, spoilers are incoming…if you haven’t watched the episode yet and don’t want to know, don’t scroll below!

The episode begins with Vatu returning back to camp from tribal. Ozzy tells Stephenie that he’s happy she’s still there. Stephenie tells Angelina she voted for her. Everything’s okay though. Stephenie says when Q went home, her heart sank. She doesn’t know what this means for her game.

I hope it means your days are numbered — but we can’t have nice things. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Emily thinks this (voting out Q) was the best move. She wants Angelina to be next, and Ozzy agrees. They want to break up the Mike, Angelina and Christian trio.

Angelina thinks Stephenie should be next to go and wants to blindside her so she doesn’t play her shot in the dark advantage. Also, seeing her putting on a jacket is just funny to me.

Ozzy wants to get Angelina out so he can be Mike’s number one (good luck with that), while keeping Stephenie for a number. He wants to be a step ahead of everyone else.

Over at Cila, the boys are putting on a show for Cirie, Dee and Kamilla. Not a Magic Mike show, but a talent show…for lack of a better word.

Rick juggles. Rizo imitates Mickey Mouse. Jonathan and Charlie put on some kind of wrestling show. Jonathan lifting Charlie up and dropping him is the most hilarious thing ever. 🤣 Cirie, Dee and Kamilla decide on the winner, which is…RIZGOD!!!

In reaction to this loss, Charlie tells the women, “you sit up there in your ivory tower…judging us! We’re starving out here! You say stand! You sit on us, then spit on me!” 🤣🤣🤣

Charlie’s one-sided beef with Rizo is hilarious too, because he’s pissed he lost to Rizo in the talent show. He feels like Liz Wilcox. “I’m pissed!” 🤣 Rizo has no clue that Charlie is out for blood.

Meanwhile, over at Kalo, Genevieve braids Coach’s hair, while her arch nemesis Aubry is out searching for an idol, even though she already has one. She knows she’s on the bottom of the tribe. She hears Genevieve calling her name. “It’s like she’s in a Ricola commerical calling my name.” 🤣🤣🤣 She returns and says she was just taking a moment to be alone. When Genevieve turns her back, Aubry gives her a look like this:

I literally died. 💀💀💀 RIP Me. I had to make that photo the featured picture on this post.

Now Genevieve is looking for an idol and ends up finding another Billie Eilish idol. But this time she’s keeping this a secret and she’s giving it to Rizo. She wants to set him up so she gets the idol back. I thought that was her plan with Ozzy too, but look at him, being (almost) a non threat now.

At the immunity challenge, everyone is shocked Q was voted out at tribal. The tribe that comes in first place in the immunity challenge will not only win immunity, they’ll win a reward! The reward is meeting and dining with Zac Brown from the Zac Brown Band. He’s a huge fan of the show and because this season is In The Hands Of The Fans, he wanted to come to Fiji to take part by giving them a reward…food, music and hanging out with him.

Jeff’s explaining how only the winning tribe will get the reward, the second place tribe will win only immunity, while the last place tribe will go to tribal council. He says this as he looks over at Vatu. Mike asks Jeff, “why are you looking at us?” Jeff doesn’t know, but then looks at the other two tribes. Cirie sits out for Cila. Genevieve sits out for Kalo.

The challenge begins! The players have to swim to an arched platform, and use each other to grab two pails down. They have to empty sandbags out of a heavy boat. They then have to push the boat up onto the beach. Once they get it on a track, they fill the boat with puzzle pieces and then push it through a net. Once they reach the end of the track, they take out the puzzle pieces and put the puzzle together. It’s an arch that says, “celebration”.

Kalo wins immunity and reward. Cila wins immunity, while Vatu is going to tribal again. I guess Jeff was foreshadowing when he looked at them. Or cursed them, IMO. I was exhausted watching them compete. I can’t imagine what it was like to physically do.

Before everyone leaves after the challenge, Coach says this is the best reward ever! He can’t wait! Did they pay Coach extra to say that? I didn’t even realize I’ve heard Zac Brown’s music, until he started singing. Country music isn’t really my thing.

At the reward, Joe echoes Coach’s thoughts when he says this is the best reward ever in the history of the show. I’m not sure about that. I would’ve much rather won a car (or truck), like Colby did on Survivor: Australian Outback.

We see an entire fishing segment where Zac tells us how he fell in love with spearfishing while he’s underwater. Then he meets the players. He prepares and cooks the food, then he plays some music. Someone on TikTok said it’s about ten minutes long. This segment didn’t need to be this long. To me, it could’ve been an email.

While the Zac Brown mini-concert’s going on, over at Cila Dee’s taking the loss really hard. She’s a huge Zac Brown fan and she couldn’t get a handshake. She grew up with his music and it got her out of bad places in her life.

Rizo finds the Billie Eilish idol from Genevieve. He doesn’t know how he pulls it off every season. You’ve played only one season, Rizo. He thinks he’s one of the better players to ever play the game.

You’ve got to be kidding me.

Recovering from the challenge, Vatu discuss who to vote out. After hearing everyone’s voting out Angelina, Mike goes to work trying to save her. He wants to vote out Emily instead. She’s a beast in that she’s very strategic and knows the game inside and out. “She’s a cougar in the shape of like a renfaire girl.”

Mike tells Angelina and Christian they want to vote out Angelina. He’s trying to get people to vote out Emily instead. Christian doesn’t like the sound of any of this because he’s been working with Emily since day one this season and Angelina’s part of the David vs Goliath trio. Mike tries to use his villain puppet master skills to get what he wants in the game by comparing Christian’s situation with Emily to what happened with Gabby on DvsG. Christian says Mike comparing his relationship with Emily to Gabby really hurt him like a dagger into the heart.

Christian comes up with a plan. He pulls in Stephenie. If he, she and Emily vote Mike…that’s three. Mike and Angelina will vote out Emily. Ozzy will vote out Angelina. Mike’s out. He tells Emily how Mike is trying to get her out. Emily wants to bring Ozzy in because she owes him for voting with them last time. Christian isn’t happy when she tries (it’s in front of both Christian and Stephenie). His plan is sound and he doesn’t want to take the chance it’ll backfire on them.

At tribal, they play some kind of new music and I’m not a fan. Just putting it out there.

Jeff tells Mike his face isn’t moving. Mike says he wishes he was younger, taller and stronger. He feels like he’s been eating nothing but humble pie. After they got back from the challenge, Ozzy speared seven eight fish. Beat that Zac! 💪🏻 Emily says she’s found getting to know everyone has been both interesting and powerful. She has loved meeting everyone there.

Talk turns to how their professions can help them in the game. And how the game has affected them in their professions. Mike says he has to con people into believing in his project until they see the finished product.

Jeff asks if Emily changes her mind from after the challenge until tribal. She says a half a dozen times at least. Right now, she’s having a sinking feeling. She’s picking up on vibes that are off. All it takes is one or two convos where she’ll realize she hadn’t considered another angle that might result in her torch being snuffed. It’s time to vote!

“You’re a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but I like you.” (Grins)

Mike is voted out with three votes. Emily has two votes, and Angelina has one. Christian’s plan worked. Mike is blindsided, but compliments them. He says, “you skunks! Amazing! Good job, you guys!” If only every Survivor player had that kind of attitude. Ozzy says, “wow, blindsided, thanks you guys.” Yeah, I had a feeling Emily was right when she wanted to let him know. Even if he voted for Angelina anyways, being completely left out of the vote would be a terrible feeling.

I’m sad to see Mike go. I’ve always loved his manipulative side. I still can’t believe he came back. You’d think he’d be too busy. Now, Mike…if you read this…we need a new season of The White Lotus ASAP! Please and thank you! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Next week, it looks like the one-sided Charlie/Rizo rivalry heats up. I’m not even sure whose side I’m on.

What about you? Were you expecting Mike to go? What did you think about the episode?

Until the next time… ✌🏻
