It’s that time of week where we find out who those devilish traitors murdered and who is unfortunately banished next in The Traitors US Season Four!
This week’s episode is titled “Do You Know The Enemy?” But I don’t think they know anything—let alone their enemy.
Remember, if you haven’t watched the episode yet—look away now! Spoilers exist from here on out!

The episode begins the next morning at breakfast. Maura can’t believe she’s still there. She trusts Rob. She tells him she would die of shock if Rob told her he was a traitor.

Girl…get ready. Start planning out the outfit you want to wear in your coffin now.
Rob is starting to feel bad about lying and scheming, especially to a friend like Maura. This game is getting to him.
A part of me thinks production probably fed those lines, because I remember most of the traitors from different seasons and different countries, always say something like this at this point of the game. I’m not sure if it’s to make the traitors more emphatic or what, but I noticed it around this time of the UK season that just ended and it feels familiar.
Eric and Mark arrive. Mark is worried about Kristen. Eric is worried about Mark because of what Kristen was saying last night and her confrontation with him about not voicing his opinions.
Maura doesn’t trust Johnny and Natalie. Rob thinks Natalie’s been murdered.
Tara arrives, she’s surprised she’s still there. Her radar is so far off after what happened the night before with Stephen. Johnny comes in. He’s happy he and Tara revealed their relationship. They don’t have to hide now. I’m still wondering how the other players didn’t know? They were in the same sport and went to the Olympics.
Tara and Johnny explain what happened the night before and how they were told to go to the dungeon. There was a Jack-in-a-box and they had to crank the handle. If a traitor jumped up, you were murdered.
Natalie is the last to arrive at breakfast, meaning Kristen was the person murdered the night before. RIP Kristen, you were the only one with Eric’s name in your mouth. Loved your duo with Mark.

Alan comes in wearing a seafoam coloured argyle outfit. He tells them today’s mission will make their heads spin. Hmmm…another visit to a certain carnival, perhaps? I really wish they’d stop copying the UK’s missions.
After breakfast Tara and Natalie discuss whether or not Rob’s a traitor. They start brainstorming how they can get him banished.

Meanwhile, outside Mark is getting reassurances from Rob that he isn’t a traitor. He didn’t do a good enough job, IMO, he wasn’t very convincing, at least to me. Mark seemed to buy it though.

Natalie and Tara grab Maura to ask her what she thinks about Rob being a traitor. Maura isn’t buying what they’re selling and says if she’s standing there at the end and he reveals himself to be a traitor, she’d run out of the castle. She refuses to believe he could be a traitor. I can’t wait to see the clown makeup on her face.

Maura wonders why she’s still there, when she sucks at the game. That’s exactly why you’re still there! Rob wants the dumb ones there at the end! It annoys me they haven’t realized this.
On the way to the mission Tara, Johnny and Natalie are trying to figure out how to go about getting Rob banished. Meanwhile, in the other car, Maura is telling Rob, Eric and Mark about how Tara and Natalie pulled her aside. They didn’t have any proof or anything. Now Maura doesn’t trust Natalie.

It’s our favourite Carous-Hell amusement park! You know the one, where they spin around, then have to search stuffed animals for bags of gold, only to find out there’s no open seats because they’re losing a chair or two after each spin.
Due to medical reasons, instead of riding the carousel, Tara and Eric have dummies in their likeness, which they’ll have to put on the carousel before it spins. Then take off the carousel and putting them into seats before going after the stuffed animals. They look heavy.

Rob really wants to win the shield for the traitors so they have full control over who is murdered. But he comes across like an ass when he criticizes Mark for only finding a $750 bag when he had $2500. Why did he climb on with such a small amount, etc.? This takes Mark aback. Rob assures Mark he’s not mad at him. Alan says he’s mad at the game. Rob agreed. But Mark realized Rob will pick Maura over him in the game. They have an F2.
Natalie says it’s weird…Rob has never cared about having a shield before in the game, and she feels like he’s acting. All Rob’s acting (and temper tantrum) did was cause suspicion in him for the first time. Eric ends up being the last person on the carousel and winning the shield. Rob got what he wanted anyways, so Rob revealing that side of himself was even worse.
They managed to add $24,500 towards the pot!
Back at the castle, talk revolves around Rob and Natalie. Rob tells Maura they get Natalie out tonight, then Tara and Johnny next.

Watching Maura’s reactions to what Rob said, makes me wonder if she’s developing doubts about him. Whatever is going on in her head, there’s something spinning around inside there. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see if it’s anything profound.
At the round table, Alan reveals it’s the last round table where they will find out if the player is a faithful or a traitor.
Tara opens up discussion by saying she doesn’t know what to do. Last round table her instincts were so far off. She wants to see what others are thinking. Rob says he’s been suspicious of Natalie since the beginning.
Natalie says she can’t believe she hasn’t been murdered yet. Why is she still there unless someone who’s a traitor is protecting her? Rob’s been acting funny all day. At breakfast, he looked defeated. She’s never seen him that way before. And it’s weird that Candiace voted for him, out of all people. Mark adds that Candiace would be the one to create a smart strategy play.

Rob tries to defend himself but it’s the lamest defence ever, IMO. I can’t believe they believe his bullshit. Like, I could explain what dropping a fork means in this game as an argument. It’s the same as what Natalie just said about Rob looking defeated for the first time in the game. It’s unusual behaviour. Rob has so many tells, and I’m annoyed they can’t see one of them. Maura really needs to open her eyes.
I’m getting sick and tired of hearing how Candiace’s vote was a throwaway too. Throwaway or not, she voted for someone who nobody was talking about. After she revealed she was a traitor, that should tell the faithfuls, he’s a traitor too and it was traitor on traitor violence. The fact, it hasn’t…they should’ve just laid out bread crumbs and put up a neon sign on it saying “traitor this way—>” and maybe they’d catch a clue. These faithfuls are pathetic. Kudos to Rob for keeping all of the dummies, so they can’t see through his bullshit. Because the gamers would’ve seen right through it.
Natalie asks Tara what changed since the car ride? She and Johnny were gung-ho about banishing Rob then. Tara basically shrugs and gets Johnny to answer for her. Johnny says they didn’t agree to vote Rob out if they didn’t have the votes.
Natalie ends up being banished unanimously. After she reveals she’s a faithful Tara feels badly because she was wrong again.

Post round table, Tara wants to be murdered because she’s so bad at this game. I think that’s Tara’s guilt talking, because she knew she fucked Natalie over.
Rob says the way Natalie tried defending herself made her look guiltier, but I don’t see how. She made a lot of great points. There’s just nobody who thinks like she does (a gamer) and she’s dealing with a bunch of people who are too scared to speak up about Rob. I don’t get the appeal. Mark tells Rob how Eric never says anything at the round table makes him look suspicious.
We get a brief feeling of hope in these faithfuls, when Johnny reveals to us viewers he thinks the traitors are Eric and Rob, but tells Maura it’s just Eric, because everybody knows she’ll just tell Rob. I’m not sure if he’s keeping quiet about his suspicions on purpose…but at least he’s on the right track. If he survives until the final four with Tara, they could vote both Rob and Eric out and split the winnings. Unfortunately, I don’t have that much faith in these two figure skating faithfuls.

Up in the turret, Rob and Eric discuss the day. Rob tells Eric that was great he won the shield, but it’s not good he didn’t say anything at the round table. He needs to speak up more.
Alan interrupts and tells them whoever they decide to murder, will be murdered in front of everyone.

After they decide who to murder, Rob says it was a very hard decision to make for his game. I think it was Mark, because they said he won’t be banished because he’s well liked. I can’t see it being Maura or Tara because they’re their goats they’re dragging to the end. Johnny could easily be banished still.
Everyone is called outside where there is a coffin waiting for them. Gun power is spread in a circle around the coffin. There’s a soft looking pillow in the coffin.
Each player thinks it’s themselves who’s getting murdered.

Just before Alan announces who was murdered…the episode ends. Leaving us with another cliffhanger. How about we banish and murder cliffhangers instead?
And that is it until next week, with the finale and reunion show (which promises to be a doozy), bring lots of popcorn to that one.
