To those who celebrate, I hope you had a Happy Valentine’s Day and your special someone treated you right! If you didn’t celebrate (for whatever reason), I hope you treated yourself!
It’s that time to find out once again how those survivalists are doing up in the cold, northern Canadian wilderness and most of all, who will be Extracted next?!
Remember spoilers are incoming so stop reading—if you don’t want to know!

The episode begins where we left off. As you may recall Doug, RJ and Luke were stranded in the wilderness. Doug and RJ’s batteries had run out and were stranded in the dark. Luke hurt his knee and couldn’t walk very well, but he had some battery juice left. Meanwhile, Eric is lost in the woods.
Back at HQ, Nina says in their ten years together, they had only camped once for twenty-four hours. Sandra says Eric’s only motivated to get off the couch to go out to restaurants and go shopping for sneakers. 🤭🤣 Sandra says if he doesn’t win, she doesn’t want to be on the same plane as him.
RJ’s mom, Makala refuses to extract him until he has zero left to give.

Doug says a bear could come up on him and he wouldn’t know it. He doesn’t want to risk injury so he sits down and will continue on in the morning.
Eric finally finds his way back to camp.
After seeing Luke complaining about being injured, Doug’s sons think Luke’s faking his injury.
Luke’s brothers both know Luke is faking his injury, but going into the game, faking an injury would be part of their strategy. Daniel and David decide to go to bed early, which makes the other teams give them the side eye.
The next morning the rest of the survivalists return to their respective camps, much to everyone’s relief.
For breakfast, the survivalists have to prepare the grouse to cook, by plucking the feathers off. Summer is scared of birds and doesn’t think she can even touch it.

Summer’s brother steals a line from the former hostess of Big Brother Canada, Arisa Cox, by saying, “you can and you will” touch it.
Rhoman also has issues with the grouse. He had put it into the pot and put it in the lake to keep cool overnight, but the pot leaked, so his bird got wet. He doesn’t want to eat it now because it stinks. His brother thinks a lot of people are too soft nowadays and Rhoman is a dumbass.

Time for the Survival Trial! Each team at HQ has to send their loved ones instructions and supplies to build a raft and row out to an island in order to collect more survival tools. They all pair up into teams with other families. One player (Summer) isn’t paired up with anyone, so she has to do it all alone.

There is only one book with pictures of a raft. David and Daniel (Luke’s brothers) rip the page out before all the teams could get a look at it. This angered some of the teams and I don’t blame them.

The families head outside to pick out all of the materials, which will be delivered to the survivalists.
The survivalists meet their partner and find their materials.
RJ and Eric decide not to read the instructions and left some floatation devices behind. (These two are a train wreck from start to finish.) They were actually spinning in circles after they did get their raft in the water because they couldn’t paddle correctly. 🤣😭🤭 I found it hilarious. Sandra and Nina in particular, did not.

Doug looked like a dog paddling in the water. 🤣

Luke and Polly arrive first to the island. Doug and Katie are next. Summer arrives shortly after. Eric and RJ (amazingly) grabbed the last crate with supplies. Amey and Rhoman arrive last and receive nothing. It took them a long time to build their raft, and were the last to leave. But their raft looked great! 👍🏻
After the challenge, Bailey and Molly team up with David and Daniel, promising not to go against their integrity, but will fight to win. You teamed up with the wrong team for that!

The next day Eric is having a hard day. He begs Nina to extract him. Sandra refuses to push the button. It’s up to Nina, who eventually gives in. She knows once he’s in this mindset, there’s no getting him out of it.

Everybody says goodbye to Eric, Nina and Sandra. We find out Nina had quit her job to be on the show. Sandra says Eric will be paying…all of the bills. And Eric will not say any more smack talk about Survivor.
David and Daniel feel like a weight’s been lifted. There’s still competitors, but not as great as Sandra and Nina. They’re assuming too much because…

Doug’s sons have a plan. They’re already aligned with Katie’s sons, but together with Tanisha, they make a plan to take Polly out, so Luke’s brothers will be alone. They’re going to war.
And that’s the end of the episode!
I’m sad to see Sandra, Nina and Eric go. One thing’s for sure, the queen’s still queen and it was great watching Sandra thinking tens steps ahead of everyone and back on my tv screen again. I didn’t want to say anything at the time because I didn’t want to jinx it, but in the premiere episode, when they showed the preview for the rest of the season, I noticed there was a noticeable lack of Sandra in it. I thought it was odd, unless she wasn’t on the show for very long. I guess my suspicions were confirmed.
My adrenaline is running in anticipation of the war that’s going to happen. I love it when people fight fire with fire.
