It’s time for another episode of The Traitors UK! This is the tenth episode of the season with two more episodes coming this week and then that’s it! It’s hard to believe how fast this season went!
I made up a title for this episode titled, “Carous-Hell” and believe me…it describes it perfectly!
As usual spoilers are incoming! If you haven’t watched the episode yet, and don’t want to know, look away now!

The episode begins at breakfast. After everybody shows up, they all wonder who received the ceremonial dagger and if they personally would want it. Most say they would, except Stephen, because it would make him suspect that that person is a traitor. (He’s obviously planting seeds to make the others think that whoever received it is a traitor to keep the suspicion off of Rachel and himself.)
Claudia arrives to greet them and informs them James is the player who the traitors chose to receive the ceremonial dagger. He will be able to cast two votes at the next round table. She asks James if his head is spinning and James says it is. Claudia warns all of their heads will be spinning during the mission.
Uh-oh, that doesn’t sound good.

On to the mission! They arrive to see an amusement park called, “Carous-Hell”, but it doesn’t look very amusing. The players have to sit on chairs and spin, then look for bags of gold found inside stuffed animals located at various booths scattered around the field. The bags contain £250 – £2000. They can collect up to £12,000 in total. As long as they bring back gold, they can go for another spin. After each round they lose chairs and whoever doesn’t get one, is eliminated and loses their chance at a shield. The last person standing gets the shield.
Think of a dizzying, nausea-inducing version of musical chairs, but spinning really fast, and without music. Then, you’re trying to walk, but you’re really drunk, trying to walk home from a party. It doesn’t sound like anything I’d want to do.

Jack is able to grab the very last seat (at the end there’s only one chair left), fighting for it versus Jade and Roxy, therefore winning the shield. Unfortunately Jade had the bag worth £2000, which means they could’ve earned more – if she had beat Jack. They raised £9250 at the mission.
Claudia tells them to go back to the castle to think about their reviews of her “fun fair”. I know what my review would be…it’s pictured below.

Faraaz thinks Rachel is a traitor and that’s why he’s still in the game. Matthew thinks both Rachel and Stephen are traitors. Roxy is surprised because she’s close to both of them, plus she thinks it’s James.
When they get back from the mission, speculation swarms around Matthew, Jade and James. Faraaz is still very suspicious of Rachel.
Roxy asks Rachel if she’s keeping her there because Rachel is a traitor, in front of other people! Rachel hides her shock well, but is able to placate Roxy. Too bad Faraaz is in the same room when this happened.
Faraaz and Jack tell each other they’re the only ones they truly trust.
Later, at the round table, Claudia informs them they have raised £66,750 all together. She tells James that whoever he votes for gets double the votes, because he has the ceremonial dagger. (I was hoping he’d have two chalkboards and would have to write the name out twice.)

During the round table discussion, Matthew accuses Jade of not bringing anything to the round table other than to point the finger back at the person who comes after her. Jade denies this. She thinks she’s being set up. She is asked who she thinks the traitors are, and she says James, Roxy and Faraaz.
James tells Matthew that everybody knows both of his votes are going to him and going after Jade is a nice move on his part because it’s the only play he’s got. Matthew denies that he’s doing that. James says it’s the only play he has.
This is so stupid! I’m not an idiot! I wouldn’t do that! ~ Matthew
Roxy tells James she thinks he’s a traitor. She doesn’t think Jade or Matthew are. She thinks he gave himself the dagger and thinks he’s going really hard at Matthew.
Rachel tells James he’s going really heavy tonight, when he hasn’t before. Jack tells James that if they vote Matthew out and he’s a faithful, he’s going to suspect him next.

Stephen tells Matthew that when he told Stephen to look at who votes for him, there will be traitors there, it felt like he was saying anybody voting for Matthew would be suspicious. It made him feel uncomfortable. Then there’s a fight about what a waste of a dagger it was for James to have it.
A pretty messy round table this episode.
Matthew ends up being banished. He reveals he’s a faithful.
Claudia tells them how much they suck. Not really, but she asked them what they’re thinking. One of them will be murdered later that night. She’s genuinely speechless.
I’m worried they broke Claudia. Speechless? That’s unlike her.

James feels really bad for going so hard after Matthew. He actually cries. Faraaz tells Stephen, Roxy and Jade he thinks Rachel’s a traitor. He brings up the Fiona fight.
Roxy’s so upset by this, she’s like Stewie in this gif. Sorry, it’s the best way to describe it.

But the night of stupidity isn’t over…Faraaz, who has been playing a pretty decent faithful game so far, decides to tell Rachel he thinks she’s a traitor – along with mentioning that the other traitor is Jade or Stephen. What a boneheaded move! He, at least did this with James and Jack watching, so he has witnesses, but YIKES. Then he teases her, by saying please don’t kill him tonight. Rachel tells him if she were, she would’ve killed him the first night.
Later on up in the turret, they think the power of the dagger went to James’s head. They figure either Jade or James are going to get banished so they have to decide…should they murder Faraaz or Roxy?
Every decision they make now will determine if they’ll make it to the end game or not. After they seal up the parchment, Stephen wants to make sure they make it to the end. Rachel assures him of her promise to him. She won’t break it. But if he hears her talking about him, she’s trying to protect their alliance. Stephen tells us viewers that if he hears she’s going against him behind his back…game on.
Wow! What an intense episode! Good thing the next episode is already out as I type this. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone tell not one, but two traitors he thinks they’re traitors to their faces. Let me repeat that. TO THEIR FACES before! Like…WTF?!?!
