It’s time for another episode of The Traitors US! It’s already episode four! This one is titled, “Cut The Head Off The Snake”! Oooh, sssssssounds slithery.
If you haven’t watched the episode yet and don’t want to be spoiled…stop reading now! I will be spoiling the rest of the episode!
The episode begins with Eric, Ron, Kristen and Caroline still blindfolded and tied to a tree. We don’t get to see who the traitors murder. We just see the traitors standing in front of someone. We see each player up for murder taking off their blindfolds. Next, we see the executioner.
Ron is the first to enter out of those on the shortlist. He heard some footsteps while tied to the tree. He thinks there’s three traitors. Lisa arrives next. She goes under intense scrutiny when the others asked for details. She informs them the executioner had an axe and a black mask. Then Eric arrives…he reveals he heard someone laughing to the viewers in his diary room session, but doesn’t reveal the same to the rest of the players. He’s saving that info for later. Instead, he says the executioner had an axe and a leather mask.
Last at breakfast is Kristen. The traitors murdered a housewife…Caroline from RHOD! In a flashback you can tell Caroline was shocked and disappointed to find out Candiace and Lisa were traitors who murdered her. She thought the housewives would look after each other. Instead, they looked her in the eyes, while they stabbed her in the back.
Lisa and Candiace each put on Oscar winning performances by pretending to be shocked. But everyone else… 🤭
Alan comes in and announces they’ll turn up the heat during the mission.
On the way to the mission, people are really starting to suspect Tiffany is a traitor. Candiace doesn’t like this. She thinks Ron should be a bigger target right now.
The mission is the same as the UK’s (the tall statue, while yelling out a name, while you light it on fire with a spear) one. They call it “Trial By Fire”. They’re able to complete the mission, lighting all ten on fire, adding $20,000 to the prize fund. Just like the UK, the people whose names were yelled out are at risk for murder that night. Those players are; Ron, Tiffany, Monet, Michael, Tara, Stephen, Lisa, Maura, Johnny and Yam Yam.
Back at the castle, everyone is eating. Talk revolves around who they’re going to bring up at the round table. Ron, Tiffany and Michael are the main targets.
Please target Michael because I don’t want to see this anymore. I’ve never seen such poor table manners in my life. Like WTF?
I saw it, so you have to see it too. Caring is sharing. 😳🤢
At the round table, Colton brings up my girl, Tiffany. (How dare you.) Tiffany and Candiace bring up Ron. Ron and Maura get into it a little bit. Eric tells the group he heard a traitor laughing and it sounded like Tiffany. Tiffany tells the round table she thinks Ron, Yam Yam and Michael are traitors. Things get kind of heated. Tiffany starts to cry. (Please don’t. 😭) They think she’s the head of the snake, so by banishing her, they hope to put a dent into the traitors’ plans.
The votes are in and most of the votes go against Tiffany. This is almost as hard to take as when Tiffany had to nominate Claire on her own HOH, because of her alliance with The Cookout, during BB23. IYKYK, watching that on the live feeds was hard. I balled like a little baby.
Tiffany is banished, then tells them she’s a faithful. DUH. This is getting ridiculous. All of my faves are getting banished and murdered left and right. 😭
Colton and Eric already regretted their actions. They spend the rest of the night apologizing. People are starting to suspect Colton. They tell Eric he heard what he really thought he heard. Colton blamed his gameplay on playing football and going all in.
I’m not sure if you know about Colton’s season of The Bachelor or not, but Colton was allegedly accused of stalking Cassie (the girl he ended up with) after they broke off their engagement and before he came out as being homosexual. He even put a tracker on her car. I will say he goes all in and is dedicated until he gets something. I hope he meant the dedication part and not the alleged stalking because YIKES.
Michael likes to call Rob, Colton and Stephen “the three hunks”. He thinks one is a traitor.
Later on that night the traitors meet up in the turret. Candiace is sad about Tiffany. Rob says she was smart, so she had to go. Candiace tells them during the mission, Monet said Lisa’s name. Their shortlist is; Johnny, Monet, Tara, Maura and Stephen. As usual, we don’t know who they choose.
I’m not going to speculate too much because I accidentally got spoiled when I happened to go on Bluesky. I should’ve known better than to do that. 🤦🏼♀️ My recap for episode five should be out soon. Not sure when, but I’ll let you know when I do. Shoutout to Maura for being the queen of facial expressions. 🙌🏻
