This was me all day and night waiting for this episode to drop. I’m not ashamed to admit I’m addicted to The Traitors UK. I don’t know how I’m going to get through this next week because there will not be any more episodes until January 7, 2026.

As usual, this is your warning that spoilers are ahead and you should look away now if you don’t want to know. Or, stay if you just want to know what happens!

The episode begins with another murderous decision up in the conclave. They feel like the secret traitor wants to create as much chaos as they do. Whose death would achieve this? I don’t know who, but the traitors are extremely happy about whatever decision they have decided on. But of course we won’t know until breakfast.
The next morning at breakfast the traitors are patting themselves on their backs at how well they’re playing by outsmarting the faithful. To be fair, the faithful aren’t very good at reading people.

We find out they murdered Ben. So my guess-ulations continues to suck. They reveal they murdered Ben because he had said if he dies, Ross is a traitor. The traitors are trying to frame Ross.
But Jessie believes Ross when he says he’s not a traitor. There were only a few number of people who knew Ben said anything. Ellie, Fiona, Ben, Jessie, Stephen, and James. Jessie suspects Stephen. Uh-oh. Jessie is on to him now. Ross doesn’t think the traitors realize only a few people would be aware of what Ben had said.
Elsewhere Fiona keeps my suspicions high that she’s the secret traitor. Evil grin. Check. Secret traitorous comments. Check.
While others are thinking Hugo is a regular traitor. Mostly because he’s a barrister and he’s getting more and more vocal. He made a big speech at breakfast which has a lot of people giving him the side eye. Rachel is just happy it isn’t her they’re looking at.
Mission time! Only seven people are going to the art gallery with Claudia. They’re the only ones who will be able to win a shield. The rest stay at the castle where they’re going to have to reenact the description of the painting that belongs to the frame. The people at the gallery have to guess which painting they’re reenacting and pick it out from the gallery. For every painting they match, they get a £1000. They have only sixty minutes to complete the mission.

Some of the reenactments are hilarious. They manage to get five out of six correct, earning £5000. Adam wins the shield and breaks the chain part of it too. Like how?
More and more people are believing Ross is being set up. Rachel believes Fiona is definitely the secret traitor. Faraaz thinks Sam is a traitor because he’s so smart.
Rachel asks Harriet if she’s going to bring up Hugo. Harriet says she has to. He’s acting so different now.
Talk goes back to Ben and what he said the night before. Stephen realizes he made a mistake by murdering Ben. He didn’t realize there were only a few people who knew what Ben had said. He hopes he can do damage control.
At the Round Table, Harriet brings up Hugo because he’s a barrister and a good speaker. People are intimidated by his profession. Roxy brings up James, who brings up Reece, who brings it back to James.
Talk goes back to Ross and how it’s too obvious Ross is a traitor but that’s also why it’s brilliant. Fiona goes after Hugo, who goes after Amanda.

It’s time to vote and the person banished is…HUGO!! They succeed in banishing their first traitor! Too many people had gotten suspicious by his speech at breakfast.
Stephen was impressed by how eloquent Harriet was when she brought Hugo up, he really couldn’t help but vote Hugo out. Harriet is the hero.
Sam brings up how Hugo brought up Amanda’s name before the vote. He thinks it’s traitor on traitor violence.
Ellie says she’s not speaking at the round table because it’s intimidating but also because she doesn’t have anything to say with conviction. She knows it’s okay to not say anything at the beginning of the game but now it’s getting harder not to. People might find it suspicious.
They’ll question if you’re just sitting and watching as a kind of secret traitor. ~ Ellie
Hmmmm….is that a hint, Ellie? How do you know what a secret traitor even is? 🤨
The traitors are given a task. They have to dip a finger into some red paint and dab a fingerprint onto the family tree portrait in the foyer, picking nine players. One of whom will be murdered. After completion they get to meet the secret traitor.

Stephen and Rachel manage to complete it and now we get to finally find out who the secret traitor is!
And the secret traitor is…you guessed it…a cliffhanger! Now we have to wait until next week to find out!

Have I told you how much I hate cliffhangers? They’re THE WORST.
I’ll just share who I think will get murdered and who the secret traitor is in the meantime…

I think out of the nine people who were picked (that we saw), they might murder Amanda or maybe I’ll finally guess right and Mas will be murdered. He isn’t going to be banished because everyone likes him. He’s one of those people who needs to be murdered if you want to win. I think the secret traitor is Fiona. I think Ellie’s secret traitor comment was a red herring to throw us off and I don’t think Amanda is a traitor. But I can see how a retired detective being a traitor might be appealing to production. Hmmm…we’ll just have to wait and see.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree or disagree? Who do you think the secret traitor is? Please feel free to share below!
Until the next time… ✌🏻
