Imagine my pleasant surprise when I realized we don’t have to wait an entire week for the second episode…THE SECOND EPISODE OF SEASON FOUR OF THE TRAITORS UK is now up and I’m going to recap it for you now!

As usual, I like to spoil…so if you don’t want to know, don’t scroll!
The episode begins where the first one ended. The traitors are up in the conclave deciding on who should be murdered out of three people on the secret traitor’s shortlist. They seem to be particularly giddy with excitement at committing their first murder.
The next morning at breakfast, everyone arrives group by group. While waiting for the last group to arrive, they ask Ross how he knows Netty and if he knew she was going to be on the show. Ross says his plan after seeing her was to pretend not to know her but of course Netty wouldn’t let that happen. Some question this strategy. You can tell the questioning makes him feel a little bit awkward.
Alas, we find out Netty is the one who is murdered. Ross probably feels a great deal of relief. I think their history was putting an unnecessary target on his back.
And I’m 0-1 in my Guess-ulation because I thought Mas would get murdered. We’re still waiting to find out about the secret traitor. I still have hope I’ll guess something right. 🤞🏻

Flashback to the night before when the traitors are deliberating. Netty is a good choice because she’s not afraid to say what she thinks and Ross will come into play, meaning the faithfuls will think he’s a traitor.
The faithfuls’ reactions at Netty’s death are chef’s kiss, IMO. Check them out below. 🤭

Everyone is shocked. The silence around the breakfast table is deafening. You can even hear a pin drop. Of course Ross says he would never murder Netty, especially because he knows her. Ellie believes him. She just thinks he’s under pressure and is over sharing with his answering because he knows how suspicious it looks and is acting nervous about it.
After breakfast Judy admits to a group of people – including traitor Hugo that during the traitor selection she reacted to the word traitor, by whipping her head around. He finds this very suspicious and suspects she’s the secret traitor.
Elsewhere, Sam and Jessie think Judy is a traitor too. They find how she was acting after traitor selection very suspicious as well. Roxy tries to deflect, but sees the target on her mom’s back getting bigger and bigger.
Other discussions talk about how Ross having a plan about Netty to begin with is very suspicious. Why would he need a plan? Ross feels like he’s being set up.
It’s time for the mission! They have to push a shield throne along the terrain, back to the castle. There are three stops along the way where they have to pick up £3000. They have to get back in time or they won’t get anything and nobody is safe from murder. If they find a shield, they can switch with whoever is on the throne at the time. Whoever is sitting on the throne when they reach the castle wins a shield and is safe from murder later that night.

They end up successfully completing the mission by raising £8750. Amanda, Jade and Faraaz are the last to sit on thrones, therefore are safe from murder that night.
Jade tells people how Amanda did something suspicious during the mission, and Rachel tells Amanda what Jade’s telling people. Elsewhere Sam is suspicious of Judy, who finds out and confronts him, saying he’ll find out how wrong he is…just you wait.
Drama comes to the forefront when during the first banishment at the Round Table, Amanda calls out Jade. Roxy comes to her mom Judy’s defence after numerous people bring Judy up. Rachel brings up Ross and the Netty situation. By the end of it Judy ends up receiving the most votes and gets banished. Judy reveals she’s just who she is…a faithful! Everyone is upset by how wrong they were.

Later on that night up in conclave, the traitors laugh gleefully at how well everything went. “That was fantastic!” “Nobody mentioned any of our names!” Now they think Ellie might be the secret traitor because she doesn’t say anything, just watches, as if she knows something. They think the secret traitor could be Fiona as well. She’d be excellent at it.
Tonight’s shortlist includes: Ben, Reece or Mas. They wonder why the secret traitor wants Mas out so badly? This is the second time Mas has made the shortlist. Rachel thinks it must be a woman because there’s three men listed. They’re nervous because they don’t know where the secret traitor’s head is at. It’s somebody flying under the radar though.
The episode ends with another cliffhanger. But I did hear from somewhere we get another episode tomorrow so we won’t have to wait too long. Yay!

I think Mas will get murdered again. Or, maybe he won’t since they don’t seem to want to work together as a team of traitors. The traitors might want to use Mas as a way to find out who the secret traitor is. Reece seems too young. Ben seems like a sweet old man…unless they think neither of them will be banished. Who knows? At least we’ll find out tomorrow. I do think the secret traitor is a woman. I’m leaning more towards Amanda or Fiona though.
