DONDI: Power Grab

It’s time for an another episode of Deal or No Deal Island! This week’s episode is titled Power Grab and you’ll find out why that’s a perfect title below!

Remember this post contains SPOILERS!! If you don’t want to know, don’t scroll!

The episode begins with a recap from last week! What a blindside that was, wasn’t it?

Everyone returns from temple saying how pathological and sick in the head Dr. Will is. They’re sick of the antics.

I’m not. 🤭 Dr. Will knows what the viewers want and continues to provide us with good tv! 🍿

Sabrina from BBCAN2

Lete is happy one of the family is gone and their plan worked.

David feels bad because MG gave him immunity. Dr. Will says he’s not going to hand the game over to them.

David talks about how nobody (except Parvati) knows he’s the Golden God of Survivor in Australia. He feels like he’s misrepresenting himself. He’s kinda envious of Dr. Will for being true to who he is. David tells Parvati he was tempted to tell everyone who he is. She’s glad he didn’t. She advises David to let Dr. Will be and they’ll take him out.

David wakes up feeling better about things. He’s the only one with the balls to take Dr. Will out. He tells Dr. Will that it was cold-blooded what he did to MG, so he’s coming for him.

Dr. Will asks David which show did he win? Was it Survivor Australia?

David denies, denies, denies, but Dr. Will thinks he’s too good not to have been on a reality tv show before. His social game is spot on and his accent helps too.

David is more determined than ever to get Dr. Will out…he can’t have somebody blow up his game.

Is this the beginning of a heavy-weight battle between these two iconic reality tv gamers? With the Black Widow thrown into the mix too?

I’m in! I’m going to need ALL THE POPCORN for this! 🍿🍿🍿 I hope all three are the final three! Wouldn’t that be something?

Parvati and Phillip discuss how they both lied at the temple last week and Dr. Will was trying to come in between them. Parvati tells Phillip how Dr. Will is the type of guy who would’ve bullied him when he was younger. Phillip is NOT happy Parvati would stoop that low by using something he told her in confidence against him.

She went low and she didn’t have to. ~ Phillip

He’s glad he’s aware of just how dangerous she is. He’s worked too hard to let a black widow get in his way.

On to the challenge! There’s three platforms at different heights. There’s briefcases attached to a ring. They have to jump off the platform and grab the ring and/or knock the ring off. The highest amounts in the briefcases are (of course) on the tallest platform. The trick is; they’re not playing for themselves. They have to play for someone else.

They take turns drawing names and picking who they’re playing for, then jumping off the platforms. Some of the players’ picks made some side eye their choices. 👀 CK was really upset Lete didn’t try to play for her. Aren’t they in an alliance…? CK complained.

CK goes to draw who’s next but she looks into the draw box at people’s cards. Joe calls her out for it. That’s cheating! But sure, let’s just have her draw again. 🙄🙄🙄 That was a dumb penalty for breaking the rules IMO.

Dr. Will (of course) throws his jump because he wants to play the banker.

Parvati and David come up with a plan. She’s going to play to protect Dr. Will so he doesn’t have a chance to play the banker and have control of the game.

Everyone is in shock (of course), fans included.

And that’s not all! Lete plays for David and he has safety now too!

CK wonders WTF is going on? They want to get rid of The Family and they’re saving them instead? She can’t handle how everyone is lying to each other and she’s over it.

Only Parvati, Seychelle and La Shell don’t have cases. Seychelle chooses to be at risk instead of jumping again. She’s already jumped twice and is scared of heights. Besides, she feels like she’s safe. CK and Dickson are at the bottom and they’ll target each other.

Parvati and La Shell both go for mid value cases where there’s a fifty/fifty shot of being safe or at risk.

Lete has the highest value case. She decides who plays the banker. La Shell gets the banker’s bust. She’s at risk. Parvati is safe.

CK wants to play the banker because she made a mistake. She starts to spiral and it is glorious! 🍿 She tells Parvati all about the plan to get MG out, who’s in on it and everything. I don’t think there’s anything Parvati doesn’t know now.

Parvati encourages CK to call everybody out at the temple.

This gets better and better!

CK tells Lete that she wants to play the banker. She wants to leave with integrity if need be.

There’s no integrity in DONDI.

At the banker’s temple, Lete picks CK because she wants to play the banker. She tells everyone she wants to play because she made a mistake. She wants to play with integrity and honor.

CK tells everyone how Phillip, Seychelle, Lete and Dr. Will came to her with the idea to target MG and get her out of the game.

Lete tells her if she stays, she’s coming for her head.

CK says if the game makes her question her integrity, it’s not worth it to her.

While CK is picking cases, David thinks there’s no way Lete and Phillip came up with the plan. It had to have been Dr. Will.

Oh honey, I wouldn’t underestimate my competition in this game, no matter who they are. 😬 They may surprise you.

Just like Dr. Will was picking cases in numerical order. CK picks all of the odd numbers first.

Her first offer was $351,000 and she turned it down. 😳 Her second offer was $656,000. She turns that down too. Lastly, she gets an offer for $925,000.

CK asks Phillip for his thoughts because he’s being so quiet. He says he’s fine. CK asks if he’s quiet because David saved him even though he took out David’s best friend?

Phillip denies it. He tells her not to play that game with him.

If you go low, I will go underground. So underground Harriet Tubman will have to call you in the middle of the night to tell you to run. So I’m telling you right now, you don’t want to start this. ~ Phillip to CK

Phillip took all of our wigs with that one. Whew! 😅

Check out Parvati’s expression too. 🤭

And that’s how the episode ended…

How are you feeling after being left in the middle of nowhere, dangling on the edge of a massive cliff?

I’m mad because that was uncalled for. Cliffhangers are the worst. And following something like that?
