It’s time for another episode of The Bachelor! As usual, if you haven’t watched the episode and don’t want to be spoiled, look away now!
The episode begins with Carolina telling Grant about how someone told her that while she (Carolina) was dancing on stage with him, he told this other girl he was thinking of this other girl instead of Carolina.
I didn’t say that. That’s a lie. That’s a judge on my character. ~ Grant
Meanwhile at the bachelorette’s mansion, the women are talking about their dreams.
One woman had a dream someone was trying to rip her teeth out. Another, dreamt a baby penguin was trying to imprint itself on her. People wanted her to get rid of it but it kept jumping up into her arms. She felt like she needed to take care of it. She rescued the penguin from the ocean and that’s why it imprinted on her.
Jesse arrives. He tells them there’s two one-on-one dates and one group date. They’ll know who gets the two one-on-ones because the rest are on the group date…which starts now.
Basically the two one-on-ones are Carolina and Beverly. The rest are on the group date.
Sarafiena says she’s great at girl math. Which is; you buy a dress, you return it, you get money back, especially after two weeks. That’s earning money. And if you just exchange it, you get it for free.
The group date begins. They go to The Bachelor School of Finance. Oh, sounds so exciting!
There’s a couple who are going to teach the girls about finance. One of them is from Dragon’s Den. The girls change into power suits.
There’s vaults on their tables. Throughout the day they’ll be earning Grant bucks. The Grant bucks go into their vault. The person with the most Grant bucks earns some perks at the after party that night.
They answer questions about money. One of the questions was how much Grant should spend on their engagement ring. One girl said it doesn’t matter as long as it’s on her finger and he has good taste. 🥰 Another said three months salary, plus her yearly salary. 😳
Another question was what’s the most risqué purchase they’ve made. Alexe answered “plug”…as in butt plug.
Most of the answers were witty and funny. Zoe was trying to answer the questions seriously and felt out of place.
Lastly they have a chance to catch as much Grant bucks as they can in a money blower machine.
At least they’re sober…I’ve learned from experience, doing it while drunk, you’re lucky if you don’t fall over. 😭🤭🤣
Bayleigh earns the most Grant bucks! She ends up buying a t-shirt of Grant’s to sleep in.
Everyone’s talking about how much fun they had. Zoe speaks up saying she didn’t. She felt like Grant didn’t pay her any attention. The girls find that ironic after she monopolized him on another previous group date.
She gets up to get a drink. Sarafiena mentions how short Zoe’s dress is. Zoe overhears. She vents to another girl about how she’s not trying to stir up trouble or create drama. Why are they so mean to her?
She complains to Grant about it. He finds it unnecessary. He gives Zoe a kiss.
Eventually it’s time for the group date rose. And the winner is…Parisa! 🌹
Grant tells the girls not to belittle each other in the house. Be nice to each other. Juliana knows Zoe told Grant and confronts her. Zoe starts crying saying how they’re so mean to her. 😭 The next day all the girls are crying because of what Grant said. This part is ridiculously hilarious. 🤣
Grant takes Carolina to Vegas in a private jet. Carolina suggests they should get married in Vegas, but Grant has other plans. They’re going to jump off the Strat instead!
I’m scared of heights so this date would be like a nightmare to me.
Grant and Carolina are having so much fun jumping, they’re going again and again. Later on, they have dinner in the middle of a rooftop pool.
Carolina talks about dealing with epilepsy. She was diagnosed when she was seventeen. She wants him to know that it’s something that he’ll have to deal with if he chooses her. It’s not going to ever go away. Grant tells her he appreciates her opening up to him. He gives her a rose! 🌹
Beverly was supposed to go on her one-on-one date but she got sick and ended up leaving the show. That’s sad…I liked her. I hope she’s okay. Grant still wants to take someone out on the date he has planned. It ends up being an another group date.
Sarafiena, Dina, and Litia go on the date. The date involves dogs. He picked the ladies because they impressed him on the group date.
They meet Lisa Vanderpump from Vanderpump Rules, who started the dog rescue where their date is at. They groom and walk the dogs.
This date is so much better than jumping off the Strat.
Grant picks Litia to spend some one-on-one time with and takes her out to dinner later, while the other two have to head back to the mansion.
Back at the mansion Carolina comes back from Vegas wishing she hadn’t gone on her date. The rest of the girls are like WHAT? They would’ve killed to have a one-on-one date.
During the alone time between Grant and Litia…they talk about Litia’s dad passing away when she was only three. She shared the rest of her life story. Grant calls Litia’s mom and they FaceTime her. Litia introduces Grant to her mom. Grant gives Litia a rose and they dance! 🌹
Back to the beginning of this post where someone told Carolina about what Grant told her. Carolina is in tears. Rose is the one who told her.
The rose ceremony is prom themed. The girls each receive corsages. Grant never got to go to his prom because he was concentrating on basketball. That’s why they’re having a prom!
He brought four friends to join them…
They give the girls advice and how this could be the beginning of a brand new life! The girls call them “the golden men”. They take pictures, dance and BBQ.
Grant takes turns with each of the girls for some one-on-one time.
Finally, we come back to Carolina telling Grant about what Rose said.
Grant’s reaction:
He confronts Rose. She apologizes and explains that she honestly thought that’s what she heard. He swears he never said that.
The girls are upset because all of this Carolina drama took up their one-on-one time. Grant is awarded Prom King. All of the women are Prom Queens.
At the rose ceremony Rose is worried she’s going home but she receives the last rose. 🌹 Anybody else find it funny how her name is Rose and it’s the rose ceremony? 🤣 Just me? Okay, that’s fine.
The women going home are: Alli Joe, Chloe, and Bayleigh. That’s it for another week! Next week it looks like they’re heading to Madrid, Spain!
